Booking Conditions.

Cancellation Policy

We operate a 48 hour cancellation policy.

Your reservation is a legally binding contract and by entering such you are authorising the owners of Killead Lodge to charge one nights accommodation per room booked, without any additional consent, to your credit card.

Cancellations must be made by 12 noon two days (48 hours) prior to your arrival, to avoid the cancellation charge.

Failure to turn up "no show" will be treated similarly.

Bookings may be cancelled by telephone (028 9445 9896 ), letter or email ( info@killeadlodge.com ). Email cancellations will only be accepted if the "request read receipt" has been flagged.

Termination of booking.

We reserve the right to terminate your booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where you or any of the other menbers of your party engage in unacceptable behaviour that is a nuisance or causes a disturbance to other guests.

This includes rude or abusive behaviour to other guests or any of our staff.

Credit Card payments

Credit card details are taken as security for all reservations.

We reserve the right to "pre- authorise" credit cards for the full accommodation cost. This value can be held by your bank for up to seven days.

Your card will not be charged until checkout time except where our booking or cancellation policies have been breached.

Euro notes are accepted at the exchange rate determined on the day of payment.

All transactions paid by credit card are subject to a 3% surcharge.

No surcharge is incurred when paying by cash or debit card. Cheques are no longer accepted.

Check-out times

Check-out time is strictly 10.00am on the morning of departure.

Guests not vacating rooms by 10.00am may be charged £10 per hour rental.

Check-in times

Check-in time is from 5.00pm.

If guests arrive before 5.00 pm we can not gurantee admittance as we use the time pre 5.00pm as personal time and may be off premises.

If your arrival time differs, it is important to arrange an alternative check-in time with us.

Late arrivals up to 11.00pm are allowed.

Breakages or damage

Breakages and damages due to negligence will be charged to your credit card.

All bedrooms are non-smoking.

Any bedrooms tainted by tobacco odours will need to be specially cleaned and aired and all charges resulting from this, both material and for any loss of business will be charged to the credit card used at the time of booking.
